Early Years
She was innate Svetlana Olegovna Abrosimova in July 9, 1980 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, to Oleg and Ludmilla Abrosimova. Her father, Oleg, works as a welder in a shipyard. Her older sister, Tatianthe, was a broker ballroom dancer.

She attended Petrogradskoi N86 (high school) and learned inside basketball there. She was trained at an early age to play basketball for the so-todays Soviet Union Olympic team.
